How to protect yourself?

Hand hygiene is one of the most important measures to prevent and control spread of disease
Thorough cleaning of the surfaces : using water and detergent, and applying hospital level disinfectants

Based on the official recommendations of hygiene from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)*: 

Milton Anti-bacterial Solution and Tablets are suitable against enveloped viruses:

  • Tablets dilution : Use 4 tablets in 1L of cold water
  • Solution dilution : Use 2 capfuls (60 mL) in 1L of cold water
  • Contact time on surfaces and by submerging > 15 minutes

Protocols following official guidelines:

Baby accessories by submerging:

USE GLOVES to protect your skin as the solution might be irritating
CLEAN. Wash bottles, teats, breastfeeding equipment in warm soapy water.
PREPARE SOLUTION. Fill your unit with 5L of water, add 300 mL of Milton Anit-bacterial Solution or 16 Milton Tablets
ADD ITEMS. Close the lid and wait for 15 minutes.
RINSE ITEMS with clean water as this concentrated solution might damage items. Renew the solution after each use.

Home surfaces (tabletops, work surfaces, fridges, bins, chopping boards, bathroom, toilets, etc):

USE GLOVES to protect your skin as the solution might be irritating
CLEAN. Wash surfaces in warm soapy water.
PREPARE SOLUTION. Fill your unit with 5L of water, add 300 mL of Milton Anti-bacterial Solution or 16 Milton Tablets
WIPE SURFACES and wait for 15 minutes
RINSE with clean water as this concentrated solution might damage surfaces.
